MINISTRIES > Sunday Morning Service

Currently we meet in a school, so each week we set up and then restore to their original condition a “sanctuary” and children’s and youth classrooms. It’s a lot of work and most of the church volunteers in this ministry! The ministry is made up of five kinds of teams:

Our Set up/tear down teams arrive early to set up chairs and tables and help with the classroom set up. After the service, they undo all their work.

The Information table teams set up the information tables and put out literature and answer questions. Bibles in English and Spanish, maps to events, sign up sheets and other general printed information is available each week.

The Greeter teams are at the doors, welcoming people before church, handing out bulletins for the day and giving Guest Packets to visitors. These packets include written information on Vineyard City Church, a feedback card, and a free music CD.

The Coffee bar teams make coffee before the service and set out doughnuts. They keep us awake for the teaching!

Once a month the communion team serves communion at the end of the service.
